Since Star Trek: Into Darkness just came out I decided to re-watch the original movie.
There’s a conversation in the Big Bang Theory TV show were they say “Star Trek one worse than Five.”
The problem with the first Star Trek movie is that there’s no real bad guy. Going into the Unknown is cool after this mysterious planet “thing.” It’s just takes a long time to get there.
The music is excellent.
All and all this is an okay film, worth seeing at least once. This movie is very important in that it set the stage for things to come.
