The latest Fast & Furious movie has hit theaters with a boom. This is a fun action, car chase movie with ridiculous stunts (so crazy that they have a disclaimer at the end of the movie telling you not to re-create them). If you’re unformiluare with the storyline of the last five movies. The movies are basically about a group of individuals that race and pull heist in a robin hood sort of way.
This time they play for the police in attempt to capture a group heist racers that are worse than they are in exchange for pardons. Also the possibility that one of their old member who they thought died is really working for the bad guy.
The good car racers lead by Vin Diesel live by a code of family and the bad car racer dose not. This code is repeatedly mentioned so the audience doesn’t forget. The plot is very simply because its basically a car chase movie with a lot of pretty special effects. The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson almost has as many lines as Arnold did in T-2. That being said it is easy to see why this movie did so well world wide. Straight forward plot, lots of action with little dialogue made it translate easily overseas.
If you’ve ever read Save the Cat, this movie is full of Save the Cat.

All in all it’s a lot of fun and isn’t that what we want in a summer movie?
